CLOSED #25-00120812Evaluated/Addressed Issue - Close SR. Thank you for reaching out with your concerns regarding Lake Austin Boulevard and Redbud Trail. Changes made here were in response to constituent concerns sent in via 3-1-1 regarding the speed of right turning movements and encroachments into the bike lane. The additional markings and devices are meant to provide for a protected area for people on bicycles and space for making right turns safely. We will make further observations during peak hour to assess the changes now that they have been installed for a few months. Further modifications may be considered to ensure people intending to turn right are doing so using the right turn only lane.
