The curb reconstructed at Lindshire and Slaughter was done as part of the Slaughter Corridor Project in early 2023. The stop bar was placed 30 feet south to ensure that vehicles can turn safely from Slaughter.

Western Trails Blvd & West Gate Blvd, AustinCLOSED #25-00362186Evaluated/Addressed Issue - Close SR. The curb reconstruction at Westgate and Western Trails is to make the sidewalk ADA accessible. Austin Transportation and Public Works staff was able to complete the turn from both directions safely without striking the curb.

Salt Springs Dr & E William Cannon Dr, AustinCLOSED #25-00358225Evaluated/Addressed Issue - Close SR. Thank you for contacting Austin Transportation and Public Works (ATPW). The Active Transportation Team designed the travel lanes on Salt Springs to be 11 feet wide, which is designed to accommodate trucks with trailers. Turning simulations were also done at intersections to ensure that turning movements could be made safely without striking medians.
