Tree and brush debris must be removed. Details I visited the site on 10/30/2025. The site is largely unchanged since my last visit. Most trees have been cleared; however, there are some invasive chinaberry trees that should be cut and killed. The trees are small and less than 8 inches in diameter. Trash debris continues to be lessened from previous inspections when the trees were present. The dead brush and tree debris does, however, need to be removed. I sent an email yesterday to the site owner instructing them of this. I will follow up with another email indicating that invasive trees at the site need to be cut and killed. A call back was not requested by the concerned citizen. JNB.

Class: SR Created By: Log Type: WO_CREATED Summary: Investigation Response Details Spoke to the City contractor who maintains this site.  The cover of the stilling basin rusted out so could not be put back on.  Directed the contractor to repair the cover and reinstall it. The pond is currently on a list of multiple ponds in the neighborhood to have liners and pumps and panels repaired. .

I did see the encampment, however, it is outside of the pond area. Once a determination is made, the appropriate steps will be made to get this pond back into compliance.

Referred to Internal Workgroup - Close SR. This Service Request was identified during a routine quality control process. This Service Request was not received by Austin Watershed Protection's work order management system and became overdue. A new SR 25-00374157 has been created and will be investigated. An investigator will follow up within 10 business days.
