9010 North Lake Creek Pkwy, AustinObstruction of view on the street. Always parked
CLOSED #26-00086953Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. 3/25/26 - Spoke with Dan and discussed the location of the parked vehicles. Dan informed me that the location is in the section of N. Lake Creek Pkwy. between Avery Ranch Rd. and Hema Dr., and it is not at an intersection. Informed Dan that vehicles parked along the curb and not at the intersection this is not considered a "View Obstruction At Intersection". Also informed Dan that the photo of the vehicle he attached to the request is not parked illegally, because the street on the north side is marked for a parking lane, a bike lane and a travel lane. Field Investigation - Drove the street and observed the box truck on the north curb parked in the dedicated parking lane. No further action required at this time.

8403 Dempsey Ln, AustinStop line is set too far back. Cross traffic is not visible when stopped at stop line
CLOSED #26-00084034Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. Good afternoon, Thank you for contacting the City of Austin. My name is Stephen Barkley and I am with Austin Transportation and Public Works. I am responding to your 311-service request regarding a view obstruction on Dempsey Lane at its approach with W. Dittmar Road. I conducted a field visit to this location on March 24, 2026. While there I was able to drive down Dempsey Lane and stop at the stop bar to make sure there were no pedestrians present. After I stopped and confirmed there were no pedestrians, I was able to slowly pull forward up to Dittmar Road and was able to view traffic traveling along Dittmar Road without my view being obstructed. In short, the fencing does not constitute a view obstruction because after stopping at the stop bar to ensure there are no pedestrian present, you can slowly pull forward until you can view traffic traveling along Dittmar Road without entering the travel lane. Thank you again for contacting the City. If there is anything else I can assist you with, please let me know. Regards, Stephen.

760 Pedernales St, AustinThe opaque fence at 754 pedernales St. Fully obstructs the view of the street from the stop sign, forcing drivers to pull out into the stop walk to safely turn left from webberville onto pedernales. The fence is well above the 3ft maximum for corner lots.
CLOSED #26-00080124Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. Thank you for contacting the City of Austin. My name is Stephen Barkley and I am responding to your 311-service request regarding a view obstruction caused by a recently installed fence located at 752 Pedernales Street. I conducted a field visit to this location on March 10, 2026. While I was there I was able to drive down Webberville Road towards Pedernales Street and stop at the stop sign to ensure there were no pedestrians and was then able to slowly pull forward past the stop sign and view traffic traveling along Pedernales Street in both directions. In short, the fence located at 752 Pedernales Street does not constitute a view obstruction because after stopping at the stop sign to ensure there are no pedestrians, you are able to slowly pull forward up to Pedernales Street and view traffic without your view being obstructed by the fence. Thank you again for contacting the City. If there is anything else I can assist you with, please let me know. Regards, Stephen.

CLOSED #26-00072762Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. I spoke with the Participant on March 11, 2026, and informed that I visited the Webberville Road at Pedernales Street and that while there is a newly installed fence, the fence does not constitute a view obstruction because you can pull up to and stop at the stop, make sure there are no pedestrian and then slowly pull forward up to Pedernales Street to view traffic traveling northbound on Pedernales Street.
