The signal timing (pedestrian crossing / traffic flow) is awful at the Cesar Chavez / red river intersection. The north bound traffic light AND the north \ south bound pedestrian traffic SIMULTANEOUSLY are granted the right of way. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic at this intersection which completely shuts down the north bound flow of traffic on red river. AND this is a “no right turn on red light”. AND there is only one lane of traffic. This causes drivers to loose patience. VERY DANGEROUS

Dangerous situation for bike traffic from removal of southbound signal at 4th and Red River. When bicycles travel south on Red River in the new bike lane, it is to take a left at 4th into the bicycle lane leading under I35. When reaching the intersection at 4th and Red River, there is no signal light southbound, yet there is car traffic heading northbound. Bicycles do not know the state of the light and, further, are completely unable to see oncoming cars due to the opaque construction fence.

The traffic light at the intersection of 6th and West Avenue downtown, northbound has major traffic backups due to the only lane being both left turn and forward. This could be improved by either making it no left turn or removing the parking spaces near the traffic light to make it two lanes (one left turn, one forward)

No right turn on red sign comes on 3 seconds too late. Causes car ped/bike conflicts crossing airport, because right turn out of mueller on red allows 1-2 cars to turn right just as ped/bike start to cross Airport. Fix by turning no right on red on about 3 seconds earlier.

The light on pleasant valley going north before the bridge (next to the Kraig field softball complex) is entirely too short for the amount of traffic that commutes daily on the road. On average it will take me 15 minutes to make it through the .4 miles through the bridge.
