Class: SR Created By: Log Type: NO_PROBLEMFOUND Summary: Investigation Details Upon my investigation, there was no blockage or obstruction in the flow line in the creek channel located behind 1623 J J Seabrook Dr. I did contact the citizen that the Watershed Protection Department does not treat for poison ivy, that the department maintains there is no obstruction in the flow line and that their property lines do extend into the creek channel. The legal claim number was provided to the citizen. (see photos in attachments).

Details On March 14, 2025, I visited the site with the complaint of a dead animal in the stormwater detention pond. I did not observe either by sight or smell any indication of a dead animal, though the SCM contained a lot of high grass that obscured view of the basin floor. The site is in a new development with a lot of siltation occurring from the newer developing areas. There is sedimentation in the splitter box, sediment (and trash) blocking the inlets, one area of wall separation that will require sealant, and erosion along the access ramp. Vegetation will have to be cut as well, as it contains a few small trees and, in general, obscures basin floor viewing in the sedimentation portion of the water quality SCM and most of the flood detention SCM. Class: SR Created By: Log Type: VEG_MAINTENANCE Summary: Pond Flag 1571 Details *Pond Flag 1571: *This pond is maintained four times per year and was last maintained in January. It is on the schedule for maintenance in May and again in July.  A previous service request was made for this pond about a week or two ago and I contacted the contractor who is responsible for the maintenance to let them know about the service request so they could prioritize this pond accordingly.  I will contact them again and let them know there has been a second service request.   Of note, the vegetation that is up along the sidewalk should be maintained by the Home Owners Association.  The contractor will mow it when they visit four times per year but, since there is Johnson grass growing in this asset, it would be beneficial for the Home Owners Association to take responsibility for keeping the sidewalk area maintained in between the contractor's visits.  .

Details This complaint is regarding the vegetation within Flood Detention asset# 1201333 but there is no problem here.  The basin itself, along with the adjacent WQ pond, is well-maintained.  There is a tree well within the basin, and the original tree within the tree well died many years ago and someone has creatively planted a few vegetable plants within.  There is absolutely no negative impact to the functionality of the basin.  No further action needed.
