There have been several cars that have been hit while they are parked on my street due to drivers speeding and driving recklessly. My housemates, neighbors, and I strongly believe that erecting stop signs at all points of the intersection by our houses would minimize the possibility of further unnecessary and avoidable accidents from happening. Stop signs on the corners of Walnut Ave and 16th St would help us feel safer to leave our cars parked on the street, which is our only parking option.
