The wind blew down a tree on to the street someone came cut the tree and left it on the curb so I was wondering if the city would come pick it up if possible

Stoplight timings on Rio Grande from MLK to 5th St are not optimized for bikes, but in theory, they could be and car cross traffic could have longer greens. This section of Rio Grande is the only safe and direct connection to downtown for West Campus cyclists. It has very little car traffic. The problem is it’s very slow. A light will turn green and then you will have to wait several minutes at the following light because they aren’t timed for cyclists going 10-15 mph.
