Left turn arrows only needed during rush hour and should allow turns after yielding to oncoming traffic. This intersection is not a high commercial use area so thru traffic is being stopped unnecessarily by left turn signals when there are very few cars or no cars turning. Please shorten turning arrows and then allow cars to continue turning after yielding to traffic.

Issue Has Been Resolved - Close SR. The City recently evaluated left turn operations at this intersection. As a part of this evaluation, we studied intersection characteristics, crash history, and other safety and mobility factors. Based on this evaluation, we have made this/these left turn(s) protected-only to improve safety and reduce the risk of severe crashes. We will continue to monitor the operations and safety performance of this location to determine if additional adjustments are needed in the future.
