Palm tree on the west curb of Tillery Street just south of the E. 7th Street bridge is making it difficult for Cap Metro bus drivers to view traffic traveling southbound on Tillery Street when exiting the Cap Metro parking lot exit. The Cap Metro parking lot exit is located on the west curb of Tillery Street, approximately 63 feet south of the 7th bridge. The palm tree is also hanging low enough that vehicles can and will strike the fronds.

Traffic congestion at the intersection of Pearce Lane and FM 973 has become a major issue during peak traffic hours. Vehicles waiting to turn right onto FM 973 frequently back up along Pearce Lane, often extending past SH 130 and sometimes as far as Ross Road. Adding a dedicated right-turn lane from Pearce Lane onto FM 973 would significantly improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and wait times, and help decrease the risk of accidents caused by long traffic backups.
