Good morning, I’m writing to urgently request repairs for the severe flooding issue on Balcones Club in our neighborhood. As shown in the attached photo, recent heavy rain has caused significant water accumulation along the street, submerging the curb and spilling onto the sidewalk. This has led to trash bins being displaced, debris scattered, and excessive rocks from the chip zone spreading across the curb, making it extremely difficult to clean. Sidewalk in front of house has sunk and is creating a trip/fall hazard for pedestrian traffic, children riding bikes or skateboarding and is an eyesore. This issue was reported 7 months and a temporary? fix was installed. There was some asphalt piled at the break. I assumed a permanent repair by pouring new concrete would follow but I now see the case is closed. It is nice Austin can paint crosswalks rainbow colors and paint BLM signs on streets, but could you fix hazardous sidewalks too ?
